Kokopelli, the humpbacked feathered flute player, is one of the most intriguing and widespread images in several Native American cultures including the Anasazi, Zuni, Hopi, Navajo, and pueblos of San Idlefonso, Taos and Acoma. He is often found in the petroglyphs and pictographs in the Southwest.
There are various interpretations of Kokopelli's influence including the belief that he symbolizes fertility, as well as being a healer, storyteller, prankster and influencer of agricultural practices.
