Join us, for a festive showcase to close out the Summer season and welcome the Colors of Autumn in Santa Fe. Michelle Chrisman will be exhibiting a fresh new body of artwork in our downtown gallery located just 500 feet from the historic plaza. Learn about local Plein Air painter Michelle Chrisman and enjoy being surrounded by the spirit of New Mexico & the warm vibrancy that is ever-present in her artwork.
“I have a belief system, and it’s in the aspect of putting a time frame on how much time you’re going to spend on a painting. I use speed to my benefit. I don’t want my paintings to be overly wrought, or overly thought-out. I finish them on location because if I take them back to my studio, I’ll drain it of my visceral reaction.”
